# Troubleshooting

Fixes for Advanced Loading Screen. Stuck screen, old loading screen showing, no Steam picture, no music, video not playing, F1 not opening.

## Players stay on the loading screen

Nothing closes it. See [Closing the screen](/script-documentation/cas-advanced-loading-screen/closing-the-screen.md): use `mode = "auto"` or `safetySeconds`.

## The old loading screen still shows

Another resource with a `loadscreen` entry is started. Stop it in `server.cfg` (`stop loadingscreen`, `stop cas-loadscreenv2`, framework loading screens) and restart the server.

## No Steam picture on the WANTED poster

* `steam_webApiKey` is not set (or `ServerConfig.SteamApiKey` is empty).
* The player has no Steam identifier (Steam was not running when RedM started).
* Steam did not answer within `Config.Avatars.timeoutMs`; the default portrait is used and the next connection tries again.

## No music

* The track list is empty or a `src` is wrong: the jukebox shows "This track could not be loaded."
* The player paused it or set the volume to 0: their choice is saved on their PC.
* "CLICK TO PLAY": the browser blocked autoplay; any click starts it.

## The video backdrop is black

Only `.webm` plays in the game's browser. Convert the video to WebM (VP9) and use an https link.

## F1 does nothing

Click the **STYLE** button instead. If `Config.AllowPlayerStyle = false`, the Print Shop is off on purpose.

## A player's style looks wrong after an update

Locked options always follow the server. To reset their own choices they can pick **SERVER STYLE** in the Print Shop presets.

## Numbers show 0

* Lawmen and job counts need VORP Core or RSG Core and the right job names in `Config.LawJobs` / `job:<name>`.
* Queue needs `ServerConfig.QueueLength`.
* Peak and new riders start counting from the first start of the resource.
