For testing, set `ConfigServer.Debug = true` in `config_server.lua` and give yourself the test commands ([Server settings](/script-documentation/cas-advanced-taxi-job/server-config.md)). `/taxitp` takes you to the office, `/taxicall` puts a call on the wire, `/taxirank` sets your rank and `/taxiinfo` shows what the server thinks your shift and fare are. Set it back to `false` on a live server. ## Notifications | Notification | Cause and fix | | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | | Your character is not loaded. | The framework has no character for this player yet. Wait until the character is selected. | | Only Tremont drivers may take a cab. | `Config.JobLock` is set and the player has another job. | | You need $5.00 for the deposit. | Not enough cash for `Rent.Deposit`. | | Every cab is out. Wait for one to come back. | No `Stand` spot of the office is free (a rented cab or any other vehicle stands on each), or the cab model could not be loaded. The deposit comes back after `Rent.SpawnTimeoutMs`. Add spots to give the office more cabs. | | You may drive your own cab from Cabbie, second class. | The driver's rank is below `Own.MinRank`. | | Bring your own Tremont to the office first. | No own cab within `Own.Radius` of the office. With cas-dealership the car must be the driver's and taken out of their garage; see `Own.Source`. | | Bring the cab back to the stand to end your shift, or press End shift again within 10 seconds to leave it and lose the deposit. | The rented cab is farther than `ReturnRadius` from `Return`. | | Put your flag up to take calls. | The driver is busy or the flag is down. | | That call is gone. / Another cab took that call. | The call expired, was cancelled, or another driver was quicker. | | You are not there yet. | The cab is not within `BoardRadius` of the pickup or `DropRadius` of the drop. Stop closer. | | Stop the cab first. | The board opens only while the cab stands still. | | You cannot call a cab while you drive one. | A driver on a shift cannot be a passenger. End the shift first. | | You already have a cab on the way. | One call per player. Cancel it with X first. | | There is no cab office near here. | `/taxi` was used farther than `Calls.Radius` from every office. | | Wire for a cab at a telegraph office. | The player is not at a telegraph counter, and `/taxi` is off (`Calls.Command = false`). | | Wait 30 seconds before you wire again. | `Calls.Cooldown`. | | Your waypoint is too far for a cab. | The waypoint is farther than `Calls.WaypointMaxMiles` from the pickup. | | A wire costs $0.05. | Not enough cash for `Calls.WireFee`. | | That cab cannot stop for you. | The cab's flag is down, its driver is busy or already has a call waiting, or hailing is off (`Calls.Hail`). | | Get into the back of your cab. | The passenger tried to start the ride away from their own cab. | | Slow down. | Too many requests in a short time (`Config.RateLimit`). | The texts above are the English ones. With another `Config.Locale` the same notifications come from that language file. ## Common cases **No office prompt and no blip.** The resource did not start. Check the server console for errors, and that `oxmysql` and your framework start before `cas-taxi`. **The console says `No framework found (vorp_core or rsg-core)`.** Start `vorp_core` or `rsg-core` before `cas-taxi`, or set `Config.Framework`. **The cab does not appear after renting.** The Tremont Taxicab comes from [CAS RedM Cars](https://codeaftersex.com/script/redm-cars). Check that its resources (`cas-car1910`, `cas-carpack` and the rest of the pack) start before `cas-taxi`. A `Cab.Model` your server does not stream never appears. The deposit is paid back after `Rent.SpawnTimeoutMs`. **No calls arrive.** The flag must be up (on cabs that are not CAS RedM Cars cars press **J**). The office needs at least two named places in `Config.Points` that are at least `Dispatch.MinMiles` (0.17 mile) apart. `Dispatch.Npc = false` turns NPC calls off. **The interface does not show.** The `web/dist` folder is missing. Upload the resource again, or build it as shown in [Editing the interface](/script-documentation/cas-advanced-taxi-job/interface.md). **Texts show as keys, such as `ui_board_title`.** The key is missing from both your language file and `en.lua`. Put it back into `en.lua`. **A new language does not load.** The file must be listed in `fxmanifest.lua`. Run `refresh` before `ensure cas-taxi` after changing the manifest. **The board pins are off the streets.** The `Bounds` of the office map were changed. Use the numbers from [Offices and towns](/script-documentation/cas-advanced-taxi-job/offices-and-towns.md). **The night tariff never applies.** Only drivers with the `night` perk charge it, between `Fare.NightHours`. With `weathersync` running the synced clock is used. **Nothing reaches Discord.** Check `ConfigServer.Webhook.Url` and that the event is `true` in `Events`. A webhook that answers with an error code is printed in the server console. A URL whose host cannot be reached prints nothing, so copy the URL again from Discord. Still stuck?
