# How to play

How to play CAS Boxing in RedM: open the boxing menu, challenge players, fight house fighters, the keys in the ring, forfeits and betting on live bouts as a spectator.

## Opening the menu

Walk up to a ring and hold **E**, or type `/boxing`.

| Tab              | What you can do                                                     |
| ---------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Fights**       | See live bouts, spectate them, or place a bet while betting is open |
| **Create**       | Challenge a nearby player: format, rounds, wager and rules          |
| **NPC Fight**    | Fight a house fighter for his purse                                 |
| **Tournaments**  | Join a bracket                                                      |
| **Leaderboards** | Top fighters by rating, wins, knockouts and streak                  |
| **Record**       | Your rating, division and fight history                             |

## Challenges

The challenged player gets an invitation: hold **G** to accept or **H** to decline.

## In the ring

| Key             | Action                                              |
| --------------- | --------------------------------------------------- |
| Melee keys      | Punch, block and kick (grabs and takedowns are off) |
| **Space** (tap) | Get up after a knockdown                            |
| **G** (hold)    | Forfeit the bout                                    |

Fighters wear boxing gloves for the length of the bout. Leaving the ropes for too long counts as a forfeit.

## Betting

1. Open **Fights** while a bout shows **Betting Open**.
2. Pick a fighter and an amount; the screen shows the odds and your potential payout.
3. When the bell rings you watch the fight; winnings are paid automatically.

Fighters cannot bet on their own bout. Hold **R** to stop spectating.
