# Ticket Booths

CAS Event System ticket booths: the NPC ticket seller at each event location, the list of upcoming events and how a ticket is bought.

Every location in `Config.Locations` has a ticket seller: an NPC placed at the location's `shop.coords`. The NPC is frozen and can't be hurt or scared off.

## Buying a ticket

1. Walk up to the ticket seller. Within 2 metres, the **Open Event Ticket Shop |** prompt appears.
2. Press **G**. A menu lists the upcoming events at this location that still have tickets. Each shows the location, the date, the tickets left and the price.
3. Choose an event to buy one ticket.

The price is taken from your cash, and an **Event Ticket** is added to your inventory. If there are no events with tickets left, you get "There are no event tickets available here."

## What a ticket holds

Each ticket is a separate item that carries:

* a ticket number,
* the event name,
* the location,
* the date and time,
* the host.

At the event, the ticket is checked against these details. A ticket for one event can't be used for another, even at the same location.

## Sales rules

* Tickets are on sale until the event starts, or until they run out.
* If the last ticket is sold to someone else at the same moment, you get "Tickets for this event are sold out." and your money is returned.
* Each ticket sold pays its price to the host.
