# CAS Poker for RedM

CAS Poker for RedM: no-limit Texas Hold'em at five saloon tables with Rockstar's own dealing, the saloon's cards and chips, house players and the minigame HUD. VORP and RSG.

**No-limit Texas Hold'em at the five saloon poker tables of Red Dead Redemption 2, played in the game itself: the saloon's own cards and chips, the story-mode dealing and seated animations, house players on the empty seats and the game's own minigame HUD.**

{% hint style="success" %}
Drop the folder in, `ensure cas-poker` after your framework and the Valentine, Blackwater, Saint Denis, Flatneck Station and Tumbleweed tables are open. No SQL, no items. VORP Core and RSG Core are detected on their own, and one player can start a game straight away against the house players.

## Highlights

* **Five saloon tables.** Valentine, Blackwater, Saint Denis, Flatneck Station and Tumbleweed, the tables Red Dead Online uses. Six seats each, each with that saloon's own cards and chips and its own stakes.
* **Rockstar's own dealing, move for move.** The dealer button goes round the table and the player on the button deals: a riffle or standard shuffle, the cards dealt round the table from the deck, then the flop, the turn and the river laid from the deck. Players pick up their cards, look at them, bet, raise, fold, show down and rake in the pot with the story-mode clips.
* **Cards and chips that move in the hands.** Every card, chip stack and the deck follows its own prop clip, locked to the animation of the ped that holds it. Nothing pops in and nothing teleports.
* **Red Dead Online's sit-down and stand-up scenes.** Male and female sets. Standing up sweeps your chips off the felt.
* **House players.** NPC gamblers, the story mode's card players in twelve outfits, take empty seats so one player can start a game. They play from their real chance of winning, with four personalities.
* **The game's minigame HUD.** The players with their stacks and last move, your cards and the name of your hand, the board, the pot, the amount to call, the turn meter and the bet prompt that reads Check, Call, Bet, Raise or All In.
* **Two cameras.** A first-person cards camera that lifts your cards to your face, and a board camera over the felt. Each one turns on and off with a press.
* **A buy-in panel.** The only HTML screen: the table, its blinds and buy-in range, who sits where, a stake slider and the cash in your pocket.
* **Server-side Hold'em.** Blinds, side pots, split pots, all-ins, the turn timer and an optional rake are all decided on the server. Each player only receives their own hole cards until the showdown.
* **Safe money.** The buy-in leaves your pocket when you sit down and your stack comes back as cash when you stand up. Chips on the table are written down per character, so a crash, a restart or a dropped connection never eats them.
* **A table that keeps pace.** The server waits for what the table shows, so a turn starts when the cards are down.
