# Changelog

CAS Poker release notes, newest first: what changed in each version of the RedM saloon Texas Hold'em script for VORP Core and RSG Core.

## 1.0.1 (2026-10-20)

* **Ask for the Seat.** Standing at a house player's chair now shows "Ask for the Seat". The house player stands up after the hand and the chair is kept free for you for 30 seconds. See [Asking for the seat](/script-documentation/cas-poker/house-players.md#asking-for-the-seat).
* **Table sounds.** `Config.Sounds = false` now mutes every table sound: the game's poker audio scene, the turn cue and the bet amount clicks, as well as the chip clicks while the cards are dealt.
* **Config notes.** The comments in `config/config.lua` for `Config.AnimScenes` (the sit-down and stand-up scenes only), `Config.MaxTimeouts` (turns in a row) and `Config.Keys.alter` (the key shown on the amount prompt) now match what they do.
* **House players command.** `/pokeradmin bots on|off` lasts until the next restart. Set `Config.Bots.enabled` in `config/config.lua` to make it stick.

To update, replace the files and `restart cas-poker`. If you keep your own `config/locale.lua`, add the new `prompt_ask_seat` line from the new file.

## 1.0.0 (2026-10-20)

* First release: no-limit Texas Hold'em at the Valentine, Blackwater, Saint Denis, Flatneck Station and Tumbleweed saloon tables, six seats each, with Rockstar's own dealing, the saloon's cards and chips moving in the hands and the game's minigame HUD.
* House players who fill empty seats so one player can start a game, playing from their real chance of winning with four personalities.
* Red Dead Online's sit-down and stand-up scenes, the cards and board cameras, and a buy-in panel.
* The game and the money run on the server: blinds, side pots, a turn timer and an optional rake, with stacks kept safe per character in the resource's KVP.
* VORP Core and RSG Core.
