# Installation

Install CAS Wedding Venue on any RedM server. One line in server.cfg, no framework and no database.

## Before you start

You need a RedM server and access to `server.cfg`. Nothing else: no framework, no database and no other resource.

## 1. Place the folder

Copy `cas-weddingvenue` into your `resources` folder. Keep the folder name as it is.

Keep the `stream` folder (the custom models) and the `html` folder (the sounds and notifications). Without them the custom props do not appear and the celebrations are silent.

## 2. Add it to server.cfg

```cfg
ensure cas-weddingvenue
```

It can start anywhere in the order.

## 3. Grant the staff permission

The venue commands are for staff. Give your staff group the ACE permission:

```cfg
add_ace group.admin command allow
```

## 4. Check it in game

1. Ride to the Mayor's mansion garden in Saint Denis, around `2400, -1113`.
2. The floral arch, the chairs and the tables appear on the lawn as you approach.
3. Walk up to a chair and hold **E** to sit.

If you can sit down, the install is done.

## Before going live

| Setting                    | Ship as | Effect                                                           |
| -------------------------- | ------- | ---------------------------------------------------------------- |
| `Config.StaffOnlyCommands` | `true`  | The venue commands need a permission                             |
| `Config.DevTools`          | `false` | `/wedding_where`, `/wedding_seat` and `/wedding_scan` do nothing |
| `Config.Debug`             | `false` | No spawn diagnostics in the console                              |

All three are already set that way.

## With CAS Wedding

## Updating

1. Back up your `config.lua` and any language files you changed in `locales/`.
2. Replace the resource folder with the new version.
3. Put your changes back.
4. Restart the resource.
