# Troubleshooting

Fix common problems with CAS Wedding Venue: the venue not showing, missing custom props, seats, NPC guests, silent celebrations and permissions.

## The venue does not appear

* Staff may have hidden it. Use `/wedding_venue on`.
* `Config.Venue.EnabledByDefault` is `false`, and the server was restarted.
* You are more than 140 m away. It appears as you approach the Mayor's garden in Saint Denis.
* The resource is not started. Check `ensure cas-weddingvenue` and the folder name.

## The game's props appear but the arch, cake, balloons or hearts are missing

The custom models are not loading. Keep the `stream` folder complete and the `data_file` line in `fxmanifest.lua` as it is. Do not rename anything in `stream`.

## Some props float or sink

Only after moving the venue with `AnchorOverride`. Turn on `Config.Venue.GroundSnap`. See [Moving the venue](/script-documentation/cas-weddingvenue/configuration.md#moving-the-venue).

## I cannot sit down

* The seat is taken by another player or an NPC guest.
* You are on horseback, in a wagon, swimming, in a scenario, or a menu has the mouse.
* You stand closer to the altar than to the seat. Step to the chair.
* `Config.Seating.enabled` is `false`.

## The NPC guests do not come

* You are more than 110 m from the venue.
* The venue is hidden. The guests only come while it shows.
* A model in `Config.Crowd.models` is not in the game. It is skipped, so check the console with `Config.Debug = true`.

## Characters vanish or the game warns about a full pool

RedM has room for about 150 characters at once. Lower `Config.Crowd.maxGuests`, or send the guests home with `/wedding_crowd off` when they are not needed.

## The celebration has no sound

* The `html` folder is missing or incomplete. It holds the sounds.
* You are too far away. See the distances in [Sound](/script-documentation/cas-weddingvenue/guests-and-celebrations.md#sound).
* `Config.Celebration.Sounds.volume` is `0`.

## A staff command does nothing

Grant the ACE permission. See [Permissions](/script-documentation/cas-weddingvenue/commands.md#permissions).
